About The Opportunity

Are you a highly skilled clinician passionate about improving outcomes for people transitioning from custody to community? Do you thrive in environments where innovation, leadership, and service improvement come together to make a meaningful impact?

We are seeking a Senior Clinician — Service Improvement & Outreach Support to play a pivotal role in strengthening our throughcare model and enhancing the quality and integration of services supporting reintegration and reduced recidivism.

Your Key Impact Areas

The Senior Clinician provides advanced clinical leadership, service improvement oversight, and program development expertise across custody and community outreach environments. This role ensures continuity of care from in‐custody interventions through to post‐release supports across multiple domains.

Working collaboratively with custody staff, community providers, justice partners, and internal teams at Ravenhall, Fulham, and the Community Reintegration Centre, you will champion evidence‐informed practice, drive quality improvement, and enhance service integration to improve client wellbeing.

Clinical Leadership & Service Improvement

* Lead innovative and continuous quality improvement initiatives aligned with program goals.
* Provide advanced clinical leadership, consultation, and expert advice on rehabilitation, reintegration, and Continuum of Care strategies.
* Oversee clinical service delivery across outreach locations, including programs related to family engagement, substance use, cultural support, and offending behaviour.

Program Development & Evaluation

* Develop, support, and monitor new and innovative rehabilitation and reintegration programs.
* Collaborate closely with Throughcare Services teams to ensure integrated service delivery.
* Contribute to program evaluations and evidence-informed practice development.
* Partner with the GEO Research and Evaluation Team to integrate recommendations from formal evaluations.

Data, Reporting & Compliance

* Analyse service data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
* Prepare regular reports on service outcomes, performance indicators, and client engagement metrics.
* Maintain compliance with organisational and regulatory standards, clinical documentation requirements, and privacy frameworks.
* Participate in audits, quality reviews, and continuous professional development.

Workforce Capability

* Provide operational and/or clinical supervision to outreach staff.
* Offer coverage for clinical service delivery as required.
* Participate in supervision training and ongoing professional development.

This is a rare opportunity to combine senior clinical leadership, with genuinely life‐changing impact.

Our Unique Setting

Ravenhall Correctional Centre is one of Australia's most innovative rehabilitation‐focused correctional centres, integrating in‐custody treatment with community reintegration; something few providers achieve at scale. With diverse prisoner profiles, specialist units, and strong partnerships with respected sector organisations, the work is both challenging and deeply meaningful.

Working in this role means playing a central part in GEO's mission to help people turn their lives around and supporting the teams who deliver that impact every day.

Please note: This role is based within correctional settings and will involve direct engagement with prisoners. A security clearance is required.
