Southern Forest Machinery is seeking an experienced Spare Parts Manager to join our leadership team, lead our Parts Department and help drive the next exciting phase of our growth. Based at our busy Manjimup dealership, prominently located on the highway with excellent street presence and strong brand visibility, you'll join a supportive team who love what they do, serving loyal farmer customers and making a real impact in their day to day operations.
As our Spare Parts Manager, you'll oversee all operations of the Parts Department, an integral part of our dealership and a key contributor to our continued success. This includes leadership of our large and prominent Parts & Accessories retail store, which carries a diverse range of products across multiple leading brands and farming industries. You'll guide and motive a small team and work closely with our sales and service departments to deliver exceptional customer support.

About the Role
No two days will be the same. From parts interpreting to supporting our service team in resolving complex mechanical issues, you'll be central to ensuring our customers receive reliable, efficient and professional service every time. This role is also strongly supported by our supplier partners and dealer network, ensuring you receive ongoing training, technical support and assistance to thrive.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing daily parts operations and customer enquiries.
* Overseeing inventory, ordering and receiving freight, stocktakes and data accuracy.
* Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and logistics.
* Managing our parts and accessories retail area within the dealership.
* Leading, mentoring, and developing the parts team.
* Ensuring smooth coordination across the dealership.
* Driving continuous improvement and high customer service standards.
Skills & Experience
* Strong parts or mechanical knowledge, or experience in a workshop/mechanical environment.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Organisational ability to manage multiple priorities in a high demand environment.
* Farming or agricultural experience is highly valued but not essential.
