Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is an exceptional environment to advance your career while enhancing your skills and expertise. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we deliver a comprehensive range of public health services across the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Regions.
NBMLHD Community Mental Health offers a range of specialised services for children, young people, families and older people, through our community-based services and health centres. Our multidisciplinary health professionals and case managers take a collaborative approach to mental health care by linking with their patients to work together and consult within an environment appropriate to the person's needs.
An exciting opportunity is available for an organised and approachable Administration Officer to join our community health services supporting the Lithgow Community Mental Health Team as well as the Katoomba Community Health Centre, a community based centre that provides a range of services for local children, young people, and their families, adults, older people, and their carers.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of administrative duties, including providing a welcoming first point of contact for clients, families and stakeholders, coordinating appointments, maintaining records, and supporting internal communication processes. You will work collaboratively with clinicians and colleagues, ensuring administrative systems and processes run efficiently and effectively to support service delivery.
This position would suit someone who is highly organised, adaptable and people focused, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy health setting.
