About the role
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker / Metal Fabricator to join our team at R & P Enterprises P/L in Yatala, Queensland. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling a variety of metal products using the latest machinery and techniques.
What we're looking for
* Experience in the fabrication of Electrical Enclosures and general fabrication work in stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel.
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience in electrical enclosure fabrication is required.
* Certificate III Sheet Metal qualification is required.
* Intermediate level proficiency in TIG and MIG welding is essential.
* Ability to Interpret drawings.
* Ability to problem solve and think outside of the square.
* Listening and following instructions from supervisors.
* A keen eye for detail.
* Ability to work closely with others.
* Good communication skills.
* Complying with all OH&S requirements.
* Promoting and maintaining a clean factory and work environment.
* Good work ethic.
