Job Overview
We are seeking skilled and reliable individuals to join our transport team as truck drivers. The successful candidates will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Loading and Unloading: Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment, ensuring that goods are properly stowed, covered, and secured.
* Vehicle Inspections: Conduct regular vehicle inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* Delivery Documentation: Verify delivery documents and inspect the condition of goods to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
* Load Management: Estimate and distribute load weights to comply with safety regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
* AQF Certificate II or III in a relevant field or equivalent experience can substitute formal qualifications.
* Minimum 1-3 years of relevant truck driving or heavy vehicle experience is preferred.
* Proficiency in GPS load securing techniques and transport regulatory compliance is essential.
