Job Opportunity: Cybersecurity Business Analyst
The ideal candidate will collaborate with a leading IT consulting firm on high-profile Federal Government projects in Melbourne VIC.
Key Responsibilities:
* Elicit complex requirements through structured interviews, workshops, surveys, and observations, documenting them according to established industry standards.
* Apply in-depth knowledge of advanced security concepts, data governance, access control mechanisms, and networking principles to ensure secure information exchange solutions.
* Interpret and apply intricate regulatory or compliance standards, such as military or NATO security policies.
* Work closely with the Solution Architect and project stakeholders to define, analyze, and document requirements for advanced threat detection and response systems.
* Collaborate with the Solution Architect to align requirements with the overall architectural vision, technical constraints, and designated cybersecurity technologies.
* Demonstrate 7+ years of experience as a seasoned Business Analyst in a highly complex IT environment, preferably within the Defence, Government, or highly regulated sectors.
* Prior experience working within Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), including writing and managing user stories and acceptance criteria, is essential.
Requirements
