The Opportunity

Join our dynamic team as a Procurement Officer, where you'll play a key role in managing and delivering efficient procurement activities across the University. In this hands-on role, you'll work closely with the Financial Services and Corporate Services teams to streamline procurement operations, enhance systems and processes, and ensure compliance with policy and financial best practice. If you're a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative environment, this is your chance to make a real impact in a vital operational function.

You will

* Provide support in developing, maintaining and reviewing procurement systems and practices to ensure delivered within best practice environment;
* Administer the University's operational procurement functions to ensure the integrity and efficient provision of the framework within all relevant legislation, policies and guidelines; and
* Provide guidance across the university community on procurement related matters including provision of related training.

About you

You're a confident and articulate communicator who thrives in customer-focused environments. With strong verbal and written skills, you navigate negotiations with ease to deliver practical business outcomes. A natural team player, you excel at juggling competing priorities, meeting tight deadlines, and contributing to a high-performing, solutions-driven team culture.
