Overview
We are seeking an experienced and Talented Chef de Partie, Commis Chefs, 1st/2nd year apprentices and kitchen hands to join our team at the new Phoenix Brasserie in West Perth, Western Australia. This is a casual position, with opportunities for career progression within our growing organisation.
What we're looking for
Minimum of 1 year' experience in a similar position in a reputable restaurant or hospitality establishment
For chefs a Formal Commercial Cookery Qualification and Food Handling Certification
Must be a permanent Australian Resident or Citizen or hold the correct visa. Must have working rights in Australia. No sponsorship available, no backpackers or holiday makers
Successful candidates must pass a National Police Check
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operation and willing to learn
Excellent time management and multitasking skills
Ability to work cohesively with others
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure and have a positive can-do attitude
Must be flexible with working day and night times as this is a demanding role that requires regular weekend and multi-dining session availability
