Overview
Vantage Point Roofing specialises in new and replacement metal roofing, roof repairs, guttering and asbestos removal. Due to expansion, they are seeking a suitable and motivated Safety and Compliance Officer to join their team. They have increased their market share and are now seeking to employ an Accounts & Office Manager.
Position
Reporting to the Director of the business, you will be responsible for; managing the processes of the business' primary accounting information, managing credit card data, bank account data, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, payroll and various statements in MYOB.
Responsibilities
* Day to day transactions
* Invoicing
* Debt collection
* Payroll
* Receipts/Statements
Compensation
Starting base salary of $100,000 Plus Superannuation.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will hold a qualification in Bookkeeping, Accounting or similar along with the following;
* Minimum of the 1 year accounts experience, tafe certificates in relevant courses, experience managing business cashflow
* Decision making, creative problem solving skills
* High level communication skills including oral, written and interpersonal, and the ability to interact with all levels including internal, external stakeholders and customers (also confidentiality and tact)
* Prioritisation and organisational skills including the ability to meet deadlines, maintain scheduled tasks, and respond to requests promptly.
* Computing Skills - Typing, Microsoft Office (particularly excel), Outlook, organising electronic files, accounting package: MYOB
* Operation of electronic job management system and Microsoft Office package - Simpro or equivalent operating package (with relevant training)
* Professional \"Can-do\" attitude.
