We employ over 1,400 people across 120 parks and communities, as well as two corporate offices in Brisbane & Sydney.What's on Offer?Competitive salary package + bonusPaid Volunteer Leave as part of giving back to the local communityStaff discounts on our Ingenia Holiday ParksThe RoleDue to growth in our greenfield development across NSW, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Development Manager to support our up-and-coming lifestyle residential communities.This is a strategic role ideal for an individual with an understanding of manufactured housing estates and the land lease community model.AccountabilitiesContribute to, supervise and project manage current and proposed projects across the business including greenfield, integrated housing projects, and upgrade of existing manufactured housing estates.Deliver and track projects within agreed financial parameters.Deliver projects within approved budgets and on-cost and to specification.For identified projects manage the tender and construction process and appoint and manage external consultants including project managers, architects, engineers, planners and lawyers (as appropriate)Coordinating and assisting with the sales and marketing of each project/stage with the internal or external sales team.Building feasibility models within Estate Master and ongoing reporting of these feasibilities and cash-flows.Monthly preparation of individual project development reports including forecasted completion cost against budget and adopted feasibility, construction and program and sales and marketing position.Ensure that ExCo and the CEO are fully informed of sector developments, competitor activities and emerging models and opportunities.Adopt a collaborative approach to performance and development, setting targets and objectives and plans for building competency and increasing skill and knowledge.Ensure that direct reports have a clear understanding of business objectives and accountabilities and develop and maintain staff engagement and development in those objectives.About YouUnderstanding of Manufactured Housing Estate (MHE) and land lease community model is preferred.Understanding and experience of residential and integrated housing projects, staging and designUnderstanding of civil works/infrastructure/servicesDetailed understanding and experience of construction costs and construction contractsStrong industry networks and ability to source opportunities off market.Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to persuade others, build consensus and work well within a team environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with significant expertise in financial modellingExcellent research skills and ability to organise, synthesise and present information.Proficiency in the use of Estate Master development softwareDetailed understanding and experience of planning application and approval processesHow to applyFor a confidential chat, email gcoyte@ingeniacommunities.com.auPlease note that to be considered for this role you must be able to work in Australia, applicants will be required to provide evidence of their Australian work rights and willing to undergo a National Police Check.How to applyFor a confidential chat, email gcoyte@ingeniacommunities.com.auPlease note that to be considered for this role you must be able to work in Australia, applicants will be required to provide evidence of their Australian work rights and willing to undergo a National Police Check.
