The Role
We are looking for Occupational Therapists to provide life-changing occupational therapy to NDIS participants. This position is ideal if you are seeking a full-time position, however part-time would also be considered.
As an Occupational Therapist at Everyday Independence, no two days will be the same. Typical responsibilities include:
- Working in the social model across diverse settings including homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces and community centres
- Using evidence-based assessment tools to create therapy plans and provide occupational therapy to support participants in achieving goals and maximizing NDIS funding
- Working within an interdisciplinary team of allied health professionals
- Building meaningful relationships with participants and their supports (family, carers, friends)
- Attending weekly hub team meetings and contributing to a positive team culture
- Utilising guidance from your Team Leader and Therapy Mentor
Who We Are Looking For / What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- General AHPRA Registration
- Positive and flexible approach to work
- Strong communication skills and a team player
- Commitment to personal and professional development
- Valid driver’s license
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Experience in NDIS/disability is preferred but not essential
