The Health and Safety Coordinator will oversee the implementation of health and safety strategies to ensure projects are delivered in compliance with legislative, group and client requirements.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced working environment. The successful candidate will promote and support a strong health, safety and environmental culture across the workforce.
Main Responsibilities:
 * Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and review relevant safety strategies to manage areas of non-compliance.
 * Conduct internal audits and site inspections across all facilities and project sites including preparing and submitting reports to the relevant parties.
 * Maintain health and safety reporting systems and engage with workers to foster a reporting culture for monitoring incidents and injuries and identifying risks.
Requirements:
 * Strong understanding of Work Health and Safety Legislation.
 * Operating knowledge and/or experience in health and safety within laboratories; geotechnical engineering or drilling services is preferred but not essential.
 * Intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Office programs and systems.
