About The Opportunity
As a physiotherapist, you will plan, coordinate and deliver high-quality, evidence‐informed clinical physiotherapy care to patients and their families/carers as part of a multidisciplinary team. This position provides leadership to a clinical team as required and provides clinical supervision to Level 1/2 Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants, and students.
In This Role You Will
* Provide high‐level, evidence‐informed clinical service to clients/patients and other health professionals for complex cases requiring advanced practice skills, independent operation and minimal direct supervision.
* Identify, plan, implement, evaluate, and report on continuous improvement initiatives to promote effectiveness and efficiency of clinical service delivery.
* Ensure client/patient/consumer care is delivered within qualified, organisational, legal and ethical boundaries and reflects evidence based, best practice knowledge.
* Exercise independent qualified judgement in solving problems and managing cases where principles, procedures, techniques and methods require expansion, adaptation or modification.
About You
* Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Physiotherapy and registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency.
* Well‐developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Demonstrated advanced reasoning and problem solving skills, effective time management and the ability to prioritise workload while applying professional and ethical boundaries.
* High level of broad generalist and/or specialist knowledge within physiotherapy.
* Demonstrated commitment to professional development, evidence‐informed practice and continuous improvement in area of specialty.
