Specialising in manufacturing of quality bakery ingredients and frozen products for both the bakery and supermarket industry, Bakels is a technical based global company whose objective is to assist our customers develop, produce and sell (more) bakery productions.
What is the role?
The State Business Development Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining high performance sales and growth to effectively achieve business objectives within the given accounts in the Foodservice Channel of Australian Bakels. Crucial to this growth will be the ability to identify and execute initiatives that lead to Incremental Sales.
To maximize the company's profitability requirements for the given accounts of Food Industrial Manufacturers & within the Foodservice sector. This role blends strategic planning with hands‐on execution, requiring a commercially savvy leader who thrives in a fast‐paced manufacturing environment.
Some Responsibilities are:
* Achieve overall gross dollar sales and kilograms sales, and net revenue targets.
* Assume responsibility for all budgets within the Food Service market (End User and Distributors) to ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets are reviewed with action plans implemented to identify projected shortfalls.
* Work with the Planning Manager on forecasting, and the forward plan to mitigate risk and agree on gap closing opportunities NSW State Manager.
* Own the demand plan for Food Service. This will include a clear action plan to mitigate risk and secure opportunities for upcoming promotional activity 3 – 6 months out and rolling.
* Develop strategies with the NSW State Manager on reporting of sales numbers, forward plan spends, product and analysis with the support of the National Sales and Finance Teams.
* Plan and implement the strategic plan for channel in line with company strategy.
* Support the growth of the National Food Service Distributor network along with key end user accounts that utilize Food Service Distributors to have their products delivered.
* Product presentations and application towards major customers and key accounts.
* Comply with all Company policies, WHS and Quality procedures.
* Manage promotional effectiveness with the support of the Sales Co-coordinator.
* Develop strong and beneficial relationships with Key Management in these accounts.
* Work collaboratively with other functions within Bakels ~ Production, Demand Planning, Purchasing, Finance, Despatch, Technical Manager, D and A to ensure all are working in alignment with our business and key accounts.
* Manage any ad hoc projects as requested.
