About The Role
We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic CSSD Technician to join our clinical team on a part time basis with a minimum 40 hours per fortnight. Monday to Friday flexible roster, with occasional Saturday shifts available.
Duties And Responsibilities
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
Clean, sterilise, inspect and package surgical instruments
Ensure all sterilising standards and infection control measures are adhered to
Manage documentation
Ensure equipment and stock are available for Perioperative staff
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence across the hospital
About You
You have a genuine passion for customer service, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
Cert III or Cert IV in Sterilising Services
Proven experience in endoscopy, general surgical, dental or vascular instrumentation
Knowledge of sterilisation procedures and practices
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Sound working knowledge of AS 5369:2023 and Infection Control standards
Demonstrated ability to organise the sterilisation needs of the operating and procedure room requirements
