Job Title: Counsellor - Mental Health

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive client assessments and develop case plans or appropriate referrals according to the client's needs.
2. Assess and ensure supports are appropriate to meet the client's needs.
3. Refer and assist clients to access mainstream specialist services and support groups.
4. Respond appropriately to clients in crisis.
5. Facilitate groups as required.
6. Engage in telehealth services.
Selection Criteria:
1. Provisionally/registered Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or Registered Nurse - all registered with AHPRA.
2. Social Worker - eligible for ASWA registration.
3. Experience in short-term therapy with individuals, couples, and families.
4. Relevant experience in working with children and families with complex needs.
5. Demonstrated experience in intake and assessment.
6. Knowledge and experience in early intervention and prevention program services.
7. Highly developed clinical skills and knowledge.
8. Strong professional boundaries.
9. Driver's license.
10. Willing and able to travel to the Goldfield regions.
11. National Police Clearance (12-month validity).
12. Working With Children Check or eligibility to apply.
