The Role
We are seeking an experienced physiotherapist to join our Inpatient Orthopaedic & Reconditioning Physiotherapy Team at Mt Wilga Private Hospital. The successful candidate will work within a supportive team of professionals, passionate about providing high-quality care for patients.
As a physiotherapist with this hospital, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment and discharge planning across admitted services at the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and discharge planning for patients
* Work within a supportive team of professionals to deliver exceptional patient care
* Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment programs
* Effectively manage caseload demands and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
* Commit to ongoing professional development and maintenance of current evidence-based practice
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Tertiary qualification in physiotherapy and registration with AHPRA
* Minimum one year's experience working in a hospital setting
* Able to assess, plan, and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment programs
* Effective time management and prioritization skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
