Rentokil Initial Newcastle branch has an exciting opportunity available for an operational expert to take the next step in their career or to continue working in their field of choice. You will have the opportunity to showcase your operational experience while balancing day-to-day responsibilities and developing our team to achieve their full potential.

**In this permanent full-time role, you will be based in Newcastle - Sandgate**

**You will be responsible for the following outcomes**:

- Managing our teams across regional Newcastle
- Leading a safety culture
- Developing, leading, and managing a first-class operations and service support team
- Implement divisional strategies to achieve and exceed the budgeted revenue delivery targets
- Spend the appropriate amount of time building relationships with your own customer portfolio
- Support portfolio growth
- Managing the budget, P&L, operational measures, and leave targets
- Driving operational efficiencies and continuous improvement to work smarter not harder
- Full logistics, warehouse, and fleet management responsibilities
- Proactively manage service delivery to consistently meet customer contractual expectations to positively impact client retention and growth

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- A demonstrated commitment to safety and a proven track record in building a safety culture
- Previous experience leading teams - preferably in the business services industry
- A Pest Control Management Licence would be highly regarded, although not essential
- Strong operational principles and experience managing logistics and scheduling systems
- Previous experience in dealing with customers and achieving sales-related targets
- Ability to focus and have a flexible approach when faced with change, completing priorities and work demands
- Demonstrated commercial acumen to manage budgets and costs
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering against targets, KPI's and cost efficiencies
- The ability to positively challenge the status quo and champion continuous improvement
