Our trusted reputation is built on a history of an experienced team and person-centred care. We care for our residents and clients across 34 facilities throughout metropolitan Perth and regional Western Australia and look after each individual in the way they want to be cared for.
We are currently seeking experienced Kitchen Hands to provide daily support to our residents at Bethanie Fields. This role is offered on a part-time Basis.
The successful candidates must be available to work one of the following shift patterns:
(07:30 – 14:30)
Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday
(15:30 – 20:00)
Week 1: Monday, Friday, Saturday (Two Kitchen Hands required on Saturday)
Week 2: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
(09:30 – 14:30)
Week 1: Monday to Friday
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday
The total renumeration for this position is $28.89 per hour.
About You
* Possess a passion for or previous experience working as a Kitchen Hand, ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment.
* Have a ‘can do’ attitude and a genuine compassion for our residents.
* Reliable with a strong work ethic.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group.
* Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations.
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or National Police Clearance.
The Role
* Ensuring responsible work practices of food preparation, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards.
* Ensuring required ingredients are available daily.
* Assisting in the preparation and serving of meals.
* Maintaining all utensils, equipment, work benches and general surrounds in a clean and safe condition.
* Collecting and washing pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.
