* Provide subject matter expertise and pedagogical practice to meet diverse student needs.
* Model exemplary classroom teaching and mentor/coach other teachers in reflective practice development.
* Offer expert advice on content, processes and strategies shaping professional learning and development.
* Supervise and train one or more student teachers as part of their qualification.
* Assist staff in using student data to inform teaching approaches that drive improved learning outcomes.
The role involves direct teaching of groups of students and individual students, contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or other curriculum programme, and undertaking other classroom-related duties as determined by the school leadership team.
