Cleaner/Porter Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner/Porter to join our team.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of properties within our portfolio.
This role is key in ensuring that properties meet professional standards, ready for incoming tenants or inspections.
As a member of our team, you will work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality cleaning services, adhering to company requirements and expectations.
The role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork, with an emphasis on quality service.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct assigned cleaning tasks within housing portfolio
* Mop and steam clean floors
* Steam clean carpets, lounges, armchairs, beds, and other upholstered furniture
* Remove calcium scale build-up in showers and bathrooms
* Dusting and cobweb removal
* Cleaning blemishes and marks on surfaces
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Australian Citizen Certificate in Health Support Services Certificate
* Certificate in Hospitality Field: Hospitality
* Tickets and Licenses: Drivers License Desirable CPR White Card Working at Heights First Aid
* Experience and Skills: Minimum Essential 1 to 3 years' experience in hospitality/industrial Custodial industry
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
The employee will typically work in an office environment with no unusual hazards. They will occasionally lift up to 10kgs, kneel, stand, and walk. They must be able to work under deadlines and have constant mental alertness.
Security Clearance Requirement:
It is a condition of employment that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role. The employee will require a NV1 Department of Defence Security Clearance (Australian)
EHS Requirement:
Completing work tasks in a safe manner, reporting any unsafe acts or conditions to their supervisor and/or PMO/EHS Manager, continuous adherence to environmental, health, and safety procedures outlined in the EHS Handbook during the performance of their work Red-Carding a Job - Employee right and responsibility to STOP WORK if a job is unsafe or possesses a danger to the environment
