Elder Abuse Prevention and Support Practitioner
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Elder Abuse Practitioner to provide case management and support to individuals, couples, and families impacted by elder abuse. The successful candidate will raise awareness about signs and prevention, contribute to the Seniors Financial Protection Service Program (SFPS), and safeguard older persons from financial exploitation.

* Provide case management and support to clients affected by elder abuse

Key Responsibilities
1. Case Management: Understand clients' circumstances deeply, make referrals, and recommend services to build a network of support.
2. Community Education: Develop rapport with community services and stakeholders, promote awareness of elder abuse signs, and advocate for the program.
Requirements
* Undergraduate qualifications in social or behavioural sciences
* Experience working with clients in various settings, applying case management in complex cases
* Experience delivering case management and/or counselling to elder abuse-affected clients is highly desirable
