Business Support Manager / Account Manager Building Automation | BMS | Service & Projects Sydney Not all "account management" roles are created equal. Some are glorified admin positions with a sales title slapped on them. This isn't one of those. This is a role for someone who understands technical service environments, knows how to build long-term client relationships, and can confidently sit between customers, technicians, engineers and delivery teams to keep things moving properly. Our client is an established independent systems integrator operating across Building Management Systems, smart building technologies, controls and energy optimisation solutions. They have built a strong reputation through technical capability, responsiveness and long-standing client relationships - not smoke and mirrors. They are looking for someone who can take ownership of an existing portfolio, strengthen relationships, identify opportunities, coordinate delivery outcomes and become a genuine trusted advisor to clients. The role sits across account management, service coordination, client engagement and project delivery support. You'll be dealing with building owners, facilities teams, contractors and internal technical staff daily, so the ability to communicate clearly and keep momentum across multiple moving parts is critical. What You'll Be Doing Managing and developing long-term client relationships Coordinating service delivery outcomes across multiple accounts Identifying upgrade, optimisation and improvement opportunities Managing quotations, tenders and service proposals Working closely with technicians, engineers and subcontractors Acting as the key client contact across service and small project work Supporting workflow coordination and operational delivery Maintaining CRM/account plans and reporting Ensuring customers stay informed, engaged and supported throughout delivery What They're Looking For You do not necessarily need to come from a pure BMS background. What matters more is that you understand technical service/project environments and know how to manage customers professionally.
