Key ResponsibilitiesAs Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the financial health of the organisation. You’ll lead the finance function, ensure accurate financial reporting, manage budgets & forecasts & drive financial performance.Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and cash flow managementPrepare and deliver timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly management accounts, company level reports, and annual statutory accountsManage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processesSupport strategic planning and business performance analysisWork closely with project teams to track job costs, manage WIP (work in progress), and ensure financial controls are in placeLiaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutionsEnsure compliance with relevant legislation, tax obligations, and financial standardsDrive continuous improvement in financial systems, controls, and reporting processesLead and develop a small finance teamAbout YouDegree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Not essential but preferred)3+ years experience in a similar finance leadership role, ideally within the construction or related sectorsStrong understanding of project accounting, cost control, and cash flow in a construction environmentProven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and partner with operational leadersExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsProficient in financial systems (e.g. Jobpac, Xero, Viewpoint, or similar ERP platforms)
