We are seeking an experienced and professional Medical Receptionist role to join our dedicated team at our Caloundra Skin Cancer Centre on a Casual basis. The position requires approximately 32 hours per fortnight. Our operating times are Monday - Friday and candidates must be available to work between the times of 7:30am - 5:30pm.
As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a key role in assisting in the smooth day-to-day operations of our clinic, you will be responsible for:
Warmly greeting and assisting patients
Scheduling appointments and pro-actively coordinating the appointment book
Accurate data entry of patient information
Processing payments
Managing phone and email queries
Assisting in tidying up consult rooms
Qualifications & Attributes
Previous experience in an administrative/reception role within the Healthcare industry or similar is essential
Previous experience with medical practice software, such as Best Practice will be highly regarded
Customer-focused with a commitment to patient care
A strong team player who contributes to a positive work culture
Approachable, reliable and dependable
Excellent communication skills, professional presentation and positive can-do attitude
Sensitive in your approach when dealing with patients
Authorised to work in Australia
