Job Description
The NPY Women's Council Youth Service is responsible for working with children and young people aged 10-25 and their families. Our service model consists of case management, leadership and education, youth diversion and recreation, as well as advocacy and collaboration.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team in Alice Springs. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading program staff to work with Anangu communities in developing, implementing, and reviewing programs and strategies to address the recreational, social, and emotional needs of youth on communities.
This role is an integral part of the management team, including supervising staff while providing day-to-day delivery of the Youth program. You will ensure that Youth Development Officers, Anangu Support Workers, and Project Officers in your team are provided with the support, supervision, and development they require to be effective in their roles.
Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to other Youth team special projects, submissions of funding performance reports, ensuring accurate data collection, and assisting to manage multiple budgets that cross over with other operational services delivered by the team.

Key Responsibilities

About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have relevant qualifications in social work, case work, community development, or related human services, as well as experience in youth work. Exposure to remote indigenous communities will be highly regarded.
