Our client is looking for a proactive Production Coordinator to oversee overseas fabric sourcing, garment costing, and procurement operations.
This is a hands-on role that ensures timely, cost-effective production and high-quality fabrics for collections.
Your Role
Source and manage relationships with international fabric suppliers, negotiating pricing, lead times, and terms.
Forecast fabric needs, place and track orders, and ensure alignment with production schedules.
Coordinate quality checks, resolve supplier issues, and ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
Manage imports, shipping, and logistics to ensure on-time delivery and accurate stock valuation.
Cost garments and fabrics upon receipt and maintain accurate data in our master system.
What We're Looking For
Experience in fabric sourcing, textile production, or supply chain management.
Strong understanding of textile types, blends, and performance standards.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and multi-supplier management skills.
Knowledge of international shipping, customs, and procurement systems.
Bonus: Experience with Asian factories and a background in apparel or fashion textiles.
