We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Tamworth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse range of participants and be part of a supportive and social team environment.
Job Description
The successful candidate will provide supports to NDIS participants living in the following areas: Tamworth, Watsons Creek, Upper Manilla, Gunnedah, Wallabadah & surrounding areas. The role involves managing an allocated caseload and delivering timely therapeutic services.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
* Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
* Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals
* Mentor and nurture early career clinicians
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
* A passion for working with vulnerable members of your community
* A desire to share your knowledge and inspire junior clinicians
* The ability to work collaboratively with a large multi-disciplinary team
