Cabinet Making Customer Excellence Manager - Manage the Production and Quality in a Factory - $90,000 + Salary

Our client is Victoria's leading manufacturer of high-end custom-built cabinetry, with over 17 years' proudly servicing multi-award-winning, well-respected Kitchen/Bathroom Retailers and Designers across Melbourne. Their work is always entirely customised and bespoke to meet their clients' needs.
They are entering the next exciting growth phase of their business, having just moved into much bigger, modern premises, giving them the scope to expand even further. With this, they are on the hunt for a** Quality Assurance Manager.**
**This role is essential for the smooth running and quality assurance in their factory. Day-to-day tasks include**:
- Take overall responsibility for **Finished Goods and Reworks check-offs** for all product that leaves the factory.
- Professional and timely liaison with **customers over Rework, Scheduling and Production issues**.
- Provide cover for, and guidance to, Factory Floor Supervision, Logistics, Production Assistant and Quality Manager
- Assist General Manager in ensuring all aspects of** Quality Control and Scheduling **departments are kept running efficiently, including providing cover for, and guidance to, key staff in these departments.
- Where requested, assist General Manager across any other relevant areas within** Production, Supplier and Customer areas.**
- MUST be a qualified cabinetmaker.
- MUST have experience in a high-pressure environment, preferably with custom-built cabinetry.
- MUST have reasonable Management/Supervision experience.
- Customer Service and Strong Communication Skills.
