Location: Guildford PDC, WA, AU
Reporting into the Warehouse Supervisor – Inventory Control, the Store person – Leading Hand, will join our Inventory Control team on a Permanent Fulltime basis at our Guildford location. This role involves assisting with overseeing a team, checking system for inventory, stock location management, moving product and general warehousing duties. There is an element of running various shifts whilst the Supervisor is unavailable.
Department Overview
Parts Distribution Centre (PDC). Our 24/7 PDC holds 75K Cat product lines, shipping 300K lines/month. We use the DEMATIC system for 18K+ small parts, and provide rack and yard storage, hose-building, parts inspection, pick‑packing, and customer pickups with multiple WMS for accurate deliveries.
Roster
Monday to Friday, Afternoons, 9 hours/ day (including meal break)
What You'll Do
* Inventory management
* Stock rotation/relocation
* Cyclic Counts
* Warehouse set‑up and projects
* General system problem solving and troubleshooting
* Process efficiency reviews
Skills & Experience
* Forklift Licence and Experience
* Previous experience in a similar role will guide you to success
* Positive attitude with great attention to detail
* High level of Computer literacy - inclusive of MS Suite, particularly Excel
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Experience working with SAP (Desirable)
* Customer service experience (Desirable)
