We are seeking a Membership Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer service staff, you will be responsible for welcoming members and new members, answering questions, resolving problems, and explaining various membership programs.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong ability to problem-solve, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will be the face of our organization, representing us in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
* Welcome and communicate with members and potential members in person, by phone, or by mail
* Answer questions, resolve problems, and explain membership programs
* Review membership programs to stay up-to-date on knowledge
* Process new membership and membership maintenance according to departmental procedures
* Collect membership fees and issue receipts
* Provide prompt and courteous member service
* Assist with loading and shopping as needed
You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reporting any issues or concerns to management. If successful, you will be required to undertake role-specific training within specified timeframes.
Requirements:
* High School Certificate or higher
* BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF AS400
* MEMBERSHIP, CASHIER, CUSTOMER SERVICE, OR COMPARABLE EXPERIENCE
Working Conditions:
* This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interactions with customers and colleagues
* May involve standing for long periods, lifting light weights, and using a computer terminal
