Due to growth, a National IT Service Provider requires a Level 1/2 IT Support Technician to join its Melbourne team for a permanent role commencing immediately. **Your recent role**
In this exciting new role, you will be:
- Providing 1st & 2nd level remote and onsite IT support for clients.
- Supporting a broad range of clients to resolve high level IT issues escalated within the Service Desk.
- Performing technical support of servers, network and hardware.
- Assisting with the delivery of infrastructure projects.
- Delivering a high level of customer service and communication.
- Supporting the Technical Account Manager in Melbourne client site visits.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience of providing level 1 & 2 IT support both onsite and remote.
- Sound knowledge of Office 365, Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, Backup technologies, VoIP and Network troubleshooting.
- Experience with VMware / Hyper-V, Fortinet / Meraki and Atera is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service & communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A tertiary education in Information Technology as well as Azure, Microsoft, Fortinet, VMware and ITIL certifications are beneficial.
- Prior experience working within a Managed Service Provider or Consultancy organisation is highly advantageous.
- Valid driver's license is required.
