A lovely family based in Rose Bay, NSW, is seeking two warm, experienced Nannies/Housekeepers to become part of their household. With two children in the family, they are looking to have one dedicated nanny/housekeeper for each child.
Child A - This position involves working Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, caring for a 3-month-old baby. Therefore, prior experience with infants is essential. In addition to childcare, strong house management skills are also necessary, as the role includes overseeing and maintaining the smooth running of the household. A valid driver's license is also required for this role.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide attentive, full-time care for a 3-month-old infant
- Maintain and support a consistent feeding, sleeping, and diapering routine
- Prepare bottles, feed the baby, and handle bottle sterilization
- Ensure safe and engaging playtime focused on early developmental milestones (tummy time, sensory activities, etc.)
- Track feeding, sleep, and diaper changes; communicate updates to parents
- Keep baby's areas tidy and organized (nursery, play area, diaper bag, etc.)
- Wash and fold baby laundry
- Comfort and soothe the baby as needed, ensuring a calm and nurturing environment
- Follow and respect family's parenting style, routines, and household rulesChild B - This position involves working Monday to Thursday from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and Friday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, caring for a 4-year-old girl. In addition to childcare responsibilities, strong house management experience is essential, as the role involves helping to keep the household organized and running efficiently. A valid driver's license is also required for this role.
**Responsibilities**:
**Monday to Thursday**:
- Begin the day with light housekeeping: laundry, ironing, making the child's bed.
- Prepare for the afternoon: pack snacks, fill water bottles, organise any items needed for after-school activities.
- 2:30 PM: School pick-up and attend any scheduled activities.
- Provide dinner and assist with bath and bedtime routines.
- Parents will put the child to bed.
- Tidy up play areas and kitchen (including dishes used for meals/snacks).
**Friday to Saturday**:
- Take the child to a morning activity and provide lunch upon return.
- Prepare the room and settle the child for nap time.
- During nap time: laundry, ironing, and other light housekeeping tasks.
- After nap: dress child appropriately for afternoon activity and attend the activity
- Feed dinner and prepare for bath and bedtime routine.
Experience in a professional housekeeping and nannying role is essential.
