Job Description
The Role:
Our commitment to quality and exceeding customer expectations continues to drive our growth as a business. As part of this ongoing expansion, we are seeking a reliable, experienced and motivated Store person to join our team on the afternoon shift. Based at our contemporary facility in Banyo, this role is responsible for the accurate and timely receiving of chilled and frozen goods into our stores. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining inventory integrity and supporting our operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving of goods
- Rotation of stock
- Picking and packing of products
- Chiller and freezer store work
- Loading and unloading goods off delivery trucks
About you:
- Experience operating a High Reach forklift up to 5 bays high
- Hold a current forklift licence
- Able to work between 1:00pm to 9:06pm, some flexibility required
- The ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Must have previous stores experience in an FMCG environment working as a Store person
- You must be able to work in a cold-room and freezer environment
- Knowledge of working within strict quality standards guidelines
- An eye for detail and pride in your work
