About the Company:
Our client, a well-established Design & Construction firm, is expanding its design team to meet the growing demands of the Australian market. With over a decade of experience, they boast a close-knit team of five senior designers internally supported by an external documentation team.
This expansion is driven by a surge in design projects, and the company is keen on nurturing and further developing its design capabilities. Key Responsibilities :
1. Establishing project briefs
2. Developing design concepts, functional layouts, and aesthetic enhancements
3. Client interaction and management
4. Conducting space planning and test fits compliant with current regulations
5. Producing speculative fitouts, client presentations, tender, and construction packages
6. Handling FFF&E selection, scheduling, and detailing within set lead times and budgets
7. Conducting site inspections and surveys encompassing existing layouts, services audit, and furniture & storage audit
8. Overseeing the resource library, administrative tasks, and supplier bookings
9. Delivering engaging presentations for visualization and effective communication
10. Coordinating with external designers and the documentation team
Key Requirements:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
11. Minimum 4 years of experience in the commercial office sector in Australia
12. Strong client-facing abilities
13. Comprehensive understanding of buildability and assets
14. Capability to lead projects from concept to completion
15. Proficiency in ArchiCAD and adeptness in 3D design and documentation
16. Familiarity with BCA and relevant Australian Standards
17. Full Australian Working Rights
