We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Production Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing facility based in Ormeau, QLD. This is an ongoing opportunity with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
About the Role
Working within a fast-paced production environment, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring manufacturing machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output. This role suits someone mechanically minded who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a close-knit team.
Shift Details:
* Afternoon shift: 1:00pm - 9:00pm
* Monday to Friday
* Overtime availability required
Pay Rate:
* $39 per hour
Key Responsibilities
* Operate production and manufacturing machinery in line with work instructions
* Set up machines and equipment prior to production runs
* Monitor machinery performance to ensure quality and efficiency
* Conduct basic quality checks and visual inspections
* Identify and report faults or production issues
* Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance
* Maintain a safe, tidy, and compliant work environment at all times
About You
* Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machinery and processes
* Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented
* Comfortable working in a repetitive, fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Physically capable of manual handling tasks
* Good communication skills and a positive, team-first attitude
* Proactive mindset with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues
