Our client is a not-for-profit organisation passionate about building a fairer, safer climate future, who help scale social movements to drive the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy. This is an incredible opportunity for a People Advisor to join their Australian operation’s driving forward people priority projects, ensuring an inclusive, values-driven, and high-impact workplace. We’re looking for an HR Advisor who thrives in agile purpose-driven environments and has exceptional stakeholder management skills, to lead and support key initiatives that enhance HR systems, streamline operations, and support a compliant, people-first culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead HR projects - from process redesigns to HR Tech implementations
- Advise employees and managers on HR policies and employment law
- Oversee payroll accuracy and resolve queries (partnering with provider)
- Manage HR operations across the full employee lifecycle
- Use data to track trends and deliver accurate insights
- Maintain and improve HRIS data integrity and drive system adoption
- Ensure compliance with evolving legislation
- Champion continuous improvement across people processes
Qualifications / What we’re looking for
- Has solid HR advisory experience and a sharp analytical mindset
- Communicates with empathy, clarity, and professionalism
- Is confident with HRIS platforms and Google Sheets/Excel
- Can juggle multiple priorities with grace and precision
Location and working arrangements
This role enjoys remote or hybrid working flexibility (you can be based anywhere in Australia, with co-working spaces in Melbourne and Sydney if you do want to go into the office).
