The role
About the Role
You'll deliver playful and engaging, child‐centred therapeutic support to children and families experiencing a range of developmental, physical, psychological and emotional challenges. Supported by the team, you'll use a collaborative approach to achieving the child and the family's goals, while also allowing for the flexibility of child‐lead modalities.
Responsibilities
You'll also
- Work closely with a multi‐disciplinary team to support your clients through regular professional communication and preparing reports to support funding requests
- Maintain current and detailed client records
- Ensure high‐quality and regular touchpoints with family and the child's other formal and informal supports to help strengthen their support system
- Liaise with school staff to manage your schedule and maintain positive relationships
- Participate in workplace culture events and training, including 1:1 supervision to meet the requirements of your professional association membership
- Travel between our Yorke Peninsula, Clare Valley, Barossa Valley and Adelaide metro regions on a regular basis

What You'll Bring
- A current Play Therapy Registration or willingness to achieve (completion of Play Therapy training is a requirement)
- Early Education degree desirable but not essential
- Experience supporting children with behavioural, developmental, trauma‐related, physical or intellectual challenges
- Confident communication with children, families, schools and other stakeholders
- Current Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and RRHAN training
- A driver's licence and reliable vehicle for travel between regions (travel allowance applies)
