This is a rare opportunity for a senior, influential, and highly respected commercial property finance professional to join us as a Property Third Party Relationship Director. Based in Brisbane, you will be at the forefront of our growth strategy, driving significant expansion across the region by forging and nurturing elite relationships with a select group of commercial brokers.
About the role:
As a Property Third Party Relationship Director, you will be the face of Bendigo Bank's commercial property offering to our key broker partners. You will manage a high‐value portfolio of complex commercial property transactions, originated through your deep relationships with accredited brokers. This is more than just a relationship management role; you will be a strategic partner to our brokers, a mentor to your colleagues, and a key architect of our success in the Brisbane market.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Driving the growth of a new‐to‐bank commercial property loan portfolio by cultivating and managing relationships with a select group of high‐performing commercial finance brokers.
* Applying your deep expertise in credit analysis and deal structuring to manage complex commercial property transactions from inception to settlement.
* Collaborating with our Commercial Broker BDMs to identify, accredit, and onboard new broker partners who align with our strategy and values.
* Championing our market‐leading digital platform, powered by nCino and Salesforce, which is designed to deliver faster turnaround times and a seamless broker experience.
* Acting as a senior leader within the team, providing coaching, mentorship, and guidance to build the capability of the broader Business Banking team.
About you:
You are a natural leader and a recognised expert in the commercial property finance sector. You have a proven track record of success in a similar role and an extensive network of contacts within the commercial broker community.
We're looking for:
* Extensive experience in commercial property lending, with a deep understanding of complex deal structuring, credit analysis, and risk management.
* A significant and established network within the commercial finance broker community in Brisbane.
* Proven success in a business development and sales‐focused role, with the ability to drive customer acquisition in a competitive market.
* Advanced financial analysis and modelling skills.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders and build trusted partnerships.
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Business or Finance.
