Pharmacy Technician
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to join our team.
About the Role:
* Prepare and dispense medications to patients accurately and efficiently.
* Receive and process prescription orders, verifying accuracy and completeness.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
* Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring expiration dates.
* Operate pharmacy software systems to input and retrieve prescription information.
* Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations and safety standards.
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns professionally.
* Assist in maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in stock control or inventory management.
* Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred but not required.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in using pharmacy management software, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
* Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask.
