Overview
Preschool Educator – Permanent full‐time or Casual role. Location: Miller, NSW. The position supports children aged 3 to school‐age in an inclusive, play‐based learning setting, serving up to 40 children per day, including those with disabilities, developmental delays and additional needs.
Responsibilities
* Support children aged 3‐5 in an inclusive, positive, and supportive environment.
* Identify and respond to child safety risks and report incidents.
* Work as part of a team to maintain a safe environment.
* Ensure children's health conditions are monitored in line with parental instructions.
* Assist in preparing, developing and implementing appropriate play‐based learning programmes.
* Maintain direct responsibility for a single group of children, ensuring appropriate educational activities and constant supervision.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of the centre by embracing new processes.
Qualifications
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
* Completed National Child Safety Training (mandatory).
* Previous experience as an early learning educator (desirable).
* Passion for working in early learning.
* Drive to ensure that children are kept safe and supervised at all times.
* Positive team player who seeks ways to improve current work practices and processes.
* Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
* Pre‐employment clearance: national police history check, qualifications, referee checks, WWCC and national child safety training certificate.
