The Role:
We’re seeking an experienced HR Driver with Dangerous Goods (DG) experience to support our Air Liquide packaged gas operation. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the safe transport, handling, and delivery of gas cylinders, adhering to DG legislation, customer requirements, and DHL’s high safety standards.
This is a hands-on role involving manual handling of cylinders, completing vehicle checks, ensuring accurate documentation, and interacting professionally with customers. If you enjoy steady, reliable work with strong safety focus and a consistent day shift, this position is an excellent fit.

Your day-to-day will include:
* Transporting and delivering gas cylinders using HR vehicles
* Completing pre-start checks, vehicle inspections, and DG safety procedures
* Safely loading and unloading packaged cylinders in line with Air Liquide protocols
* Ensuring all freight is transported safely, compliantly, and on schedule
* Completing manifests, run sheets, and delivery documentation
* Liaising professionally with customers, site personnel, and dispatch
* Meeting Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and compliance standards
* Maintaining a strong safety mindset in a high-risk environment
What you’ll bring:
* Current HR Licence (essential)
* Valid Dangerous Goods Licence (preferred but essential)
* Experience handling or transporting packaged DG (highly regarded)
* Strong safety awareness and understanding of DG compliance
* Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
* Ability to complete paperwork accurately and follow strict procedures
* Commitment to professional and safe work practices
* Willingness to supply a recent Driving Record
* Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Security Clearance
