Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (MEM30219) Dandenong South | Full-time | Manufacturing Industry We’re looking for a hands-on, motivated apprentice to join our mechanical maintenance team in a busy manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity to build a long-term trade career working with machines, tools, and mechanical systems, while earning and learning on the job. No experience is needed — just a willingness to learn, be reliable, and give things a go. What you’ll be doing As part of the team, you’ll learn how to: Operate and adjust production machinery Diagnose faults and troubleshoot mechanical issues Repair machines and build components in workshop facilities Assist with machine setups, changeovers and preventative maintenance Use programs to monitor machine performance Read and work from drawings and job specifications Manufacture parts using machining processes like milling, turning and drilling Cut, bend and install hydraulic and pneumatic lines Use hand tools, machine tools and welding equipment Check finished work to ensure accuracy and quality You’ll gain hands-on experience every day, supported by experienced tradespeople while completing your Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade.
