We seek an experienced Manager to lead our Concrete operations in South East QLD, responsible for supporting batchers and drivers across multiple production facilities, focusing on safe and quality outcomes to optimize performance and profit.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Delivering safety, environmental, and quality performance and KPIs.
* Managing daily activities of allocated sites (6 locations) staff, including employees and contractors.
* Administering the Concrete Batch Plants, including stock control of raw materials.
* Managing a large fleet of trucks.
* Reporting on cost estimates and monthly forecasts.
* Optimizing operating assets for maximum availability and productivity.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Relevant experience in the concrete industry.
* Strong leadership attributes, including effective people management skills and emotional intelligence.
* Ability to manage and influence stakeholders from various functions to effectively manage projects.
* Experience with managing financial information related to business costs.
* Flexibility with working hours and availability to work weekends when required.
