**Job Summary**
This is a 3-year term position available immediately, where you will lead a high-performing team to deliver strategic planning, communications, and engagement that support regional priorities and outcomes.
The role involves developing and maintaining the Regional Landscape Plan, Annual Business Plans, and monitoring and evaluation frameworks to guide effective landscape management.
About the Role
* Developing integrated water resource planning, including amendments to Water Allocation Plans in collaboration with regional and state partners.
* Building strong partnerships with First Nations communities to embed cultural perspectives in planning and decision-making.
* Providing strategic advice to the Board and committees on planning, MERI, engagement, communications, and water management risks and opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams and fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
You should possess:
* A proven ability to lead planning, policy, and reporting initiatives across complex and dynamic environments.
* Strong knowledge of natural resource management, community engagement, and MERI frameworks.
* Excellent communication skills, including negotiation, facilitation, and translating complex information for broad audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Liaising with stakeholders to develop and maintain strategic plans.
2. Overseeing the development of reports and policies to inform decision-making.
