About the Role
The Credit team at Revolut creates and scales lending features that power global growth. They manage the entire product lifecycle, from backend systems to customer‐facing experiences, delivering safe, forward‐thinking solutions tailored to each region.
We're looking for a Credit Manager to design credit risk policies, procedures, and strategies for our retail lending features, validate underwriting strategies, and lead proactive and reactive market actions.
What You'll Be Doing
* Develop account‐level valuation and credit underwriting policies using NPV frameworks to improve portfolio‐level economic returns.
* Make data‐driven decisions with a special focus on marginal decision‐making.
* Manage credit limits, risk‐based pricing, retention strategies, underwriting policies, etc.
* Adjust risk‐return requirements and manage portfolio returns as new data emerges.
* Support the annual budget, forecast, and planning processes.
* Participate in delivering new products/features from concept to delivery.
* Track, communicate, and draw insights from performance of ongoing initiatives while staying on top of credit KPIs through intensive monitoring.
What You'll Need
* A proven track record of managing the risk cycle for retail credit products, such as credit cards, unsecured personal loans, etc.
* A bachelor's degree from a top university in a quantitative/analytical field (engineering, statistics, physics, maths, economics, or management).
* A solid understanding of credit policy governance frameworks to work through second/third line of defence effectively.
* Knowledge of credit and behavioural scoring models, especially for retail credit products.
* The ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, simple manner.
* Understanding the value of speed to market and balancing elegant problem‐solving with business needs.
Nice to Have
* A master's degree.
* Excellent working knowledge of SQL, R, Python, and/or other data analysis tools.
* A willingness to learn new technology to help the business scale.
