We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Casual Office Assistant to support our day-to-day operations in a small, collaborative office environment. This role is suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple tasks, takes pride in accuracy, and has a natural inclination to identify issues and improve processes.
You will assist with operational, administrative, and inventory-related tasks, helping ensure orders and workflows move efficiently through the business. The position also offers scope to grow into broader responsibilities, including systems, website administration, and stock management support.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing customer orders through our inventory system (Unleashed)
* Handling administrative workflows relating to repairs
* Preparing and restocking sales representative bags with jewellery
* Verifying delivered stock against purchase orders
* Receipting stock into systems
* Picking, packing, and dispatch support
* Processing invoices, credit notes, payments, and customer transactions
* Answering phone and email enquiries
* Maintaining and auditing customer and product databases
* Providing general administrative, reporting, and team support
* Identifying opportunities to streamline procedures and improve processes
* Maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
About You
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Process-driven with a problem-solving mindset (someone who enjoys finding and correcting errors)
* Comfortable working across varied tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Strong computer literacy — proficiency with general office systems and Excel required
* Touch typing and systems experience advantageous
* Able to follow internal processes and complete tasks efficiently
* Positive, cooperative attitude suited to a small, friendly team environment
* Agile and adaptable — comfortable shifting priorities when needed
