Job Skill Set Requirements

Ability to learn, perform and oversee every job function in the gym

Demonstrates excellent communication and organization skills

Demonstrates a good understanding of PC business application programs (Microsoft Office)

Remit

Actively promotes our mission of impacting as many lives as possible through the delivery of fun and affordable fitness.

Actively displays and cultivates our House of Values

Actively promotes the philosophy, mission statement and vision of Planet Fitness

Oversees the entire operation of the gym according to defined policies

Responsible for the completion of all administrative tasks and reports

Supervises all team members

Schedules staff to adequately cover needs

Trains new team members

Prepares semi‑annual team evaluations

Responsible for member service

Responsible for cleanliness and appearance of the club

Authorizes all expenditures

Accepts applications and interviews candidates

Maintains attendance records and other records required by law

Calculates team member hours worked and coordinates with payroll service

Manages all marketing efforts

Prepares all administrative forms and reports

Meets and greets potential members and provides them with a tour of the club

Handles member problems and questions

Engages in competitive shopping

Ensures the gym opens and closes promptly

Pitches in and performs a variety of tasks as needed

Experience

* Must possess at least 3 -5 years of experience in a similar field.

Internal candidates must have completed the AGM checklist.

Must be currently First Aid and CPR certified and provide club with a copy of the First Aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain within first three weeks.

Must have your WWC (working with children) certificate/ number NSW & VIC, Blue Card QLD from employment commencement date or proof that the process has started.

Must have completed a National Police Check certificate. NOTE- The NPC Certificate must be within 12 months of application date.
