This is a significant opportunity to contribute to the delivery of a landmark water infrastructure project in Canberra. As a Water Infrastructure Project Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering mechanical components of water and treatment infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Mechanical Components Delivery: You will be responsible for managing pump stations, pipework, valves, and mechanical fit-out.
* Subcontractor Supervision: Your role will include supervising subcontractors and ensuring quality assurance during the project.
* Commissioning and Handover: You will support commissioning and final handover activities to ensure smooth project completion.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical engineering.
* Experience working on water or wastewater treatment infrastructure projects.
* A strong understanding of hydraulic systems and mechanical design.
* Involvement in all stages from design development to operational readiness.
