We are looking for a Cook to prepare and serve meals, oversee food service operation, and ensure adequate food and supplies are available.
Part-Time : 20-25 Hours per Week
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and serve food to residents within the scheduled timeframe.
- Follow menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions made on proper form
- Clean and maintain a neat, secure working environment, including the kitchen and food service areas
- Comply with state sanitation codes
- Maintain inventory control, place food orders, verify that items are received appropriately, and restock appropriately
- Ensure that resident food preferences are known and followed
Requirements:
- Can obtain Food Handler's card. Meet all mandatory health requirements by State regulations
- Typical candidates have one year of cooking experience.
- Read, write, speak and understand English.
